The restaurant Montesquiu is a tapas bar in the North of Barcelona. It was opened in 1952 and has become a meeting point for students and young people during the years. They meet in Montesquiu to eat delicious tapas like patatas bravas or calamari and have a beer together.
Javier de las Muelas - chef of Montesquiu - took over the restaurant in 1990 and since then enchants guests with his amazingly tasteful food. Tapas like an omelet shrimp, marinated dogfish, an assortment of hamburgers, roast suckling pig, oxtail or tataki can be ordered.
