Berlin is a fascinating city and there are many things to see. Here is a list of some of Berlin's most popular sights.
The Reichstag building is located at the Platz der Republik (Square of the Republic) and is the seat of the German Bundestag since 1999. It was first built in 1894, but after the Reichstags fire and WWII, the building was severely damaged, so that it was rebuilt in the 60s and completely redesigned in years 1991 to 1999. The glass dome is one of the highlights of this building and was added later to the edifice. Visitors can entry the dome after a security check. The dome is 23.5 Meters high and has a diameter of 38 meters. You can walk up ramps in spiral shape to get to the observation platform of the dome.
