Via Apartment

Extremely comfortable apartment and warm, helpful welcome from owner especially since it was 10pm. Very handy as metro Urgell at end of street and bakeries/supermarkets/fruit shop on doorstep. TV with English channels and hundreds of films, literally. Our teenage son slept in small double bedroom although as described, there is no natural light. Plus side .... he slept well!

Generaly: The apartment is with IKEA-furniture tastefully furnished, beds and all household-textiles are of good Quality. The Apartment is clean ... A better coffee-maker would be helpful. We missed a little vacuum cleaner .... furthermore we missed a kitchen-paperroll and shower Shampoo ... Disadvantage : One of the 2 sleeping-rooms has no daylight and the existing window opens to a dark elevator-shaft ....in the night and in the morning sometimes a bit noisy ....

This is a lovely apartment!! - beautifully decorated and VERY comfortable and all the conveniences and amenities that might be needed. Great location with lots of areas very accessible by walking and the metro was at the end of the block. Good restaurants, cafes and bakeries nearby as well. WiFi was secure and worked well; TV had spanish and english channels. We REALLY enjoyed our stay in this apartment and highly recommend it.

This apartment was our favorite in the three weeks we stayed in Spain. Location was great (close to metro, grocery stores, and restaurants). All amenities were included in the apartment which was nice. Checkin was easy although we didn't know our contact was already in the apartment and to ring the apartment. However, it was easy to reach Habitat and we were able to get into the apartment quickly. One thing - there is a lift but there is about a flight of stairs to reach the apartment.

We really loved the apartment. It is well located and really beautiful. We felt safe and comfortable immediately. There is a subway station, a supermarket, a lot of cafes and a great bakery within walking distance. One of the bedrooms was amazing. The smaller one has no window and that was the only negative thing. We could sleep well and had much fun exploring Barcelona. Thanks guys!

Great appartment in perfect location

Very nice apartment. All amenities and less than a minute from Metro. Very nicely furnished and looks new. Shops including restaurants in main road. Great location. Would recommend and stay again next time. Only problem was Internet. Although supposed to be fibre Internet, speeds in the evening were only 1-2Mbs. May be issue were Internet provider. Habitat Apartments Comment: We have since changed internet provider and it is working perfectly. Thank you for your suggestions.

The apartment was spacious, well equipped kitchen and comfortable. It was a matter of seconds to Urgell metro stop and within walking distance of many of Barcelona\'s famous sights. The air-con was much appreciated in the 28 degrees as was the lift after a busy day sightseeing!

Very nice appartment. Very well placed (closed to everything: Metro, bus...). Well maintained. The appartment was clean and all the utilities were in good state.

We stayed in this apartment for the third time and it was perfect as always. Quick check in, the lady who gave us the keys was very friendly and helpful. Everything in perfect working order, very clean. Apartment very quiet and comfortable, great location and very close to the subway (you just have to cross the street), 3 supermarkets within walking distance. When we return to Barcelona definitely will rent this apartment again. Absolutely to recommend.

Simply excellent apartment for our purposes. Two bedrooms, ok bathroom, and quite nice living room. Enough but not too many square meters to pay for. Very easy to reach from the airport (bus stop around the corner). Good location: central enough but not noisy or anything like that. Nice, local, inexpensive restaurants nearby. Also shops to buy breakfast stuff etc. Walking distance with shops along the way to las Ramblas, but also easy to take a bus or the metro.

Appartement bien situé, près du métro et des bus pour l\'aéroport et à vingt minutes du centre à pied. Logement récent, agréable, fonctionnel et bien décoré. Les commerces autour fournissent tout le nécessaire pour un court séjour. Un bémol : les appartements sont disposés autour de la cage d\'escalier et d\'ascenseur, on entend pas mal les aller-venues et les bruits des autres logements dans la chambre du milieu (big up au joueur de guitare du soir !)

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The apartment was cute, clean, comfortable, and conveniently located. We would definitely stay here again.

We have been several times in Barcelona and is the second time that we book this apartment. Great location, close to metro station (just need to cross the street) and there are 3 supermarkets close to the apartment. Very peaceful and quiet. Check in fast and at the agreed time, apartment complete with every comfort and fully functional. Definitely returning to this apartment the next time we come to Barcelona. Highly recommended!

We would definitely stay in this apartment again. It was beautifully decorated, very comfortable and very well equipped. It is in a really convenient location, being only 10 minutes walk away from Placa Catalunya, the Metro was at the end of the street and the Aerobus stops a few minutes walk away. We couldn\'t ask for more!

Excellent stay in Via Apartment. Fast and easy checkin process. Location was good, a short walk to Las Ramblas. Plenty of supermarkets, restaurants and bars very close and only metres from Metro entrance. Apartment was well equipped although looked bigger in the website photos. Only minor negatives was the lack of natural light in the smaller bedroom due to the lift and some noise from the neighbours but not excessive.

Everything was perfect. Apartment had all the necessities. Ladies who checked us in very helpful. Location was just right. Highly recommend Habitat Apartments. The only negative thing was the drilling and construction noise in the apartment below which meant you couldn't sleep after 8:30 am. (Habitat Apartments: the construction work downstairs has now finished. We are very sorry for the inconvenience!)

Really nice apartment. We really loved the place. There was everything we expected and more. I would point out if you are driving, there is free parking on the road side at certain times but the other times parking is very expensive.

The apartment is located perfectly, just 10 min. walking distance to Placa Espanya and Placa Catalunya(Las Ramblas). The apartment was very clean and the service was good(although the women did not speak any English). The apartment looks bigger in the photos, but the size was indicated so we knew its not too big.

We absolutely loved the apartment! Conveniently located in a beautiful, quiet neighborhood. Lots of space, English-language TV, a separate bedroom for our teenager(!)

Great overall. Helpful person when we got the keys. Told not to use the clothing dryer. Habitat Apartments: We apologise for the misunderstanding. The clothes dryer is for use by guests.

Excellent apartment, all of the home comforts you could wish for. An apartment in a lovely part of Barcelona, all main attractions nearby. We found the open top bus tour very good. The boys enjoyed "Cam Now"! Wifi and Sky a bonus

It would be helpful to have a list of nearby recommended restaurants and their menus. The elevator shaft in the smaller bedroom was a bit of a surprise. It also would have been appreciated if Habitat had emailed us during our stay to ensure that all was going well. Otherwise, we were very pleased with the apartment and your service.

We stayed in this apartment in December 2011. It is a spacious, well-appointed and very comfortable apartment. It is close to a metro station and the airport bus stops very close to it as well. There is an excellent patisserie and very good restaurants nearby. Also, there is a supermarket and a fruit and vegetable shop close by. I would definitely stay here again.

This is my second time using ‘Habitat Apartments’ and again the stay and service were excellent. The apartment was clean, and very comfortable. The location was great; it was a short distance to the metro which takes you everywhere. I travel to BCN often and will most definitely use Habitat Apartment again, and if the Via apartment is available I will most definitely stay there again.

Great apartment, very well maintained. Has everything you\'d need for a long or short stay. Fully equipped kitchen, two good sized bedrooms. Bathroom is huge with hairdryer and big shower. Lounge very comfortable and very spacious. Full kitchen with plenty of kitchenware, suitable for cooking a full meal. Metro station, supermarket and ATM all on the doorstep. 15 minute walk to town Staircase very narrow and not wheelchair accessible. Would definitely recommend to friends and would return

From the reservation to our arrival at the apartment to meet with our contact Irene, everyone involved was so helpful & polite. The apt. itself was very roomy--just like at home, and also very clean. Our location to the metro and bus pickups was no more than 50 meters away. A fruit & veggie stand was located just outside our apt. entrance which made it convenient to pick up some goodies. Depending on what groceries were needed, there were several chains to pick from, all within walking distance of the apt. Being on the 3rd floor was nice, for we had a view from the balcony and also kept us high enough away from the street noise. Best of all, we had a clothes dryer, which many people don't have the luxury of in Barcelona. Most wash their belongings and hang them out to dry. Even my daughter who was in Barcelona on an internship was jealous of us because we had a dryer and she didn't. The least favorite thing was the elevator, or the lift, which wasn't very roomy for transporting people and/or luggage.

As we stated in the notebook in the unit, VERY SPACIOUS, CLEAN and all the comforts of home. We would highly recommend this to anyone for a stay in Barcelona. All of the staff, from booking the reservation to cleaning and other needed things, those people very kind and courteous. They should be commended for all their efforts. Clean, modern and comfortable. Heater required manual reset to replenish hot water supply, Habitat managed to arrange for the maintenance person to show us how to do this. Will book apartment through Habitat the next time because of their attentive and high quality of service.

Very clean,comfortable apartment, close enough to everything, but far enough to be away from the crowds at night. supermarket close by, had everything we needed.

Een mooi, groot en heel schoon appartement compleet ingericht met alles wat je nodig hebt. Het ligt in een leuke wijk, vlakbij (op de hoek)metrostation Urgell en op loopafstand van Placa Catalunya. De bedden zijn prima met heerlijk fris linnengoed. Op de begane grond zit de groenteman en aan de overkant de bakker en de supermarkt. Kortom een prima appartement op een prima locatie!

Fantastic apartment furnished to a very high standard, great location and extremely comfortable. Would highly recommend it as it is in a quieter area but so close to transport to everywhere, including the airport. As a family of 4 we had a great stay for 6 nights.

The appartment was lovely, very well equipped and was only a 15 minute walk to the Rambla. It was truly like a home from home.

Although we were generally happy with the apartment we did find that the 2nd bedroom was a little claustrophobic to sleep in (the window opens out to the interior side of the building).

A great location and well-appointed apartment The apartment is just as it is shown in the listing. We took the metro everywhere--it was so convenient! My only suggestion for improvement would be to replace the accent lamp near the bed with a reading light. I had to have the overhead lights on while reading. A very nice, modern, clean apartment that was close to the main strip of Barcelona and it's surrounds, Las Ramblas.

The Via apartment was a great place to stay. The location is super for walking to everything: shopping, metro, restaurants, internet cafes, etc. Will stay longer the next time. Irena was a friendly greeter and showed us the apartment when we arrived.The apartment was well equipped. It felt like a home away from home.

The Via Apartment was very clean and the location was perfect. In the apartment there was everything that you can need. Irena was very kind and told us everything that we should know. The nearest metro station was only 50 metres away and if you wanna walk to Rambla, it takes about 15 minutes. Big bonus was also that Aerobus stop was very near. There was two shops very near to apartment. We would recommend this apartment to eveybody. Nothing to complain.

We loved Barcelona...This apartment has been so nice, it has been wonderful coming "home".The place was spotless when we arrived. The furnishings and decorations are terrific. The kitchen has everything we really needed. The fruit market is right outside the door, it couldn't be more handy. Staying here has made our visit perfect.

<p>We stayed in your Via apartment for six nights in March 2008. This apartment was perfect in every way, exceptionally clean and nicely furnished. I appreciated very much the extra touch: coffee, tea. Bottles of water, beer and colas are in the fridge, charged on an 'honor-system' and the prices are reasonable. The location was excellent, a 15-20 walk to the Plaza Catalunya, (the 'heart' of the city and the start of Las Ramblas), but the apartment itself was in a quiet residential area with many restaurants, supermarkets, bakeries and internet cafes. </p> <p>I wish to thank Irene, who checked me in. I arrived early and she was already there.
