    This apartment is located at a very convenient location. Lots of small shops, cafes, restaurants nearby. A Carrefour supermarket is located about 300m away, towards the Lavapies metro station. This is a very homely apartment. There were English channels so the kids could watch some Disney channel programmes, plus DVDs! A great place!

      We could not have been any happier with the aprtment that we rented in Madrid. We just arrived from renting another property in Venice, Italy, and this was by far so much better. Everything was so well thought up, from instructions/directions printed in English, to the DVDs and music made available. It was very clean and chic. We will definitely book for another stay in the future here.

      Very good stay. You can really find all what you need, like at home. The location is excellent. The neighborhood is a little busy, but there is no traffic, so that\'s not a problem at all.

      I started rented holiday apartments 3 years ago. I did because some friends talked me into trying this new experience. I must admit that the most incredible thing about apartments is that you really feel like a local, you feel like someone living there. A loved this building. Despite the lack of lift the building has a very strong'madrileño' character, as if taken out from an almodovar film! It was amazing how you open the door of the apartment and everything is modern and clean, but still with lots of character. The climb is really worth it. We fell in love with the apartment in one second. The apartment's location is excellent, much better than expected. We walked to all the museums and main attractions. I fully recommend this unusual apartment, thoughtfully equipped and cosy. Great stay!

      We rented this apartment for one week and I mut say we had an excellent stay. We usually stay in hotels, this is only our second time in an apartment and I am really happy about this great find. Helpful staff who carried our luggage, really well organised and close to main sites.

      If you want a great value, spotlessly clean and modern apartment rental in central Madrid, this is it. Instead of paying substantially more for a hotel room, I would recommend this 1 bedroom apartment if you need a place to stay in Madrid. It is completely self contained and in an authentic Madrid neighbourhood - not a tourist heavy area. Yet everything is a short walk away and transport links are good. Highly recommended if you want to live like a local and experience Madrid properly.

      We loved this apartment! Booking was easy with Habitat and Nuria, the apartment owner, was very responsive and friendly. The location could hardly be bettered - within walking distance of most of Madrid's sights, very near a Metro station and just up the street from a supermarket. The standard of furnishings was high, in particular the leather sofa, and everywhere was spotlessly clean. The kitchen is fully equipped with dishwasher, washing machine, cooker etc, and the bathroom was perfect too. The whole place was decorated in a colourful and funky style, and we appreciated the little touches that you do not always find in holiday rentals, such as an iPod dock, also the fact that there was shower gel, dishwasher tablets etc provided. It seemed as though the owner went out of her way to make this place a home from home. Another thing that we loved was the air conditioning - we stayed in late august when it was minimum 35C outside during the day, so it was blissful to come back to the apartment, knowing we would soon be cool! We always try to rent an apartment for city breaks, as they are usually so much better value than a hotel room, you have the space and facilities to really feel at home, and this one was probably the best we have ever found.

      Congratulations to the owners of this apartment who thought of everything! This is really the best holiday apartment where we have ever stayed. The apartment is close to museums and shopping area. Madrid is an incredible city and we will definitely come back!

      Excellent location close to public transport but also easy to access most 'tourist attractions' on foot. Lavapies is a lively neigbourhood but the street does not experience heavy car traffic. The appartment itself is a delight. Everything is well thought through and organized which shows the professionalism of the people who rent this appartment. You will read about the noise or the steep stairs in other reviews. For our part the building was very quiet during the two weeks we rented. As for the stairs, my husband and I are 60 years old, not in top top shape and we were 'proud' of the exercise. Thanks to Nuria and Katia!

      This is truly a lovely apartment, really thoughtfully decorated. You will not miss anything! We made it our home really quickly. The owner, Nuria, was extremely responsive to all our needs. The location is very central. Really good restaurants close by. Great supermarket too. Will definitely stay here again.

      My husband and two children spent a few days during spring break in the Third Floor Apartment. The apartment was just beautiful and charming! We had everything we needed for a perfect family stay. The apartment is in a very safe neighborhood, with many shops and restaurants within walking distance. The Metro was right around the corner. The entire process was a nice experience, from booking to our stay. I will not hesitate to rent this apartment again should my travels take me to Madrid!

    L'appartamento Attic Madrid si trova in una strada in salita, tranquilla e pedonale. Dal balcone si vede una piazza recentemente ristrutturata che si trova accanto all'edificio.

    A pochi metri dall'appartamento si trova la plaza Tirso de Molina, il teatro NUEVO APOLO e il mercato permanente di fiori. Seguendo la strada sempre in salita, a dieci minuti si arriva anche alla Puerta del Sol, centro di Madrid e centro della Spagna (cosiddetto chilometro zero). Sempre a piedi si possono facilmente raggiungere Plaza Mayor e Plaza Santa Ana. Vicino anche il quartiere La Latina, famoso por i suoi numerosi ristoranti e bar, e per il famoso mercato del Rastro, il pu grande mercato delle pulci d'Europa.

    Scendendo incontrerete la zona di Lavapiés, con tanti ristoranti e locali alternativi, e una grande mescolanza etnica e culturale. In quest'area anche la camminata dei grandi musei (Museo Reina Sofia, Teatro Valle Inclan...).
