    We liked the apartment very much. The balcony was very pleasant and you have a nice view from there. Enough space in the house. Some doors open or close a bit difficult. The metro startion is very near. There is a lot to read in the apartment. Enough chairs and a big table for all of us.

      We enjoyed our stay. Plenty of room for two parents and their adult offspring,even on the balcony, which seemed to get the sun all day. Kitchen really only big enough for one person to cook. Shop across the road open till 9pm and the one on the other side of Marina till 11pm.

      It was huge, the beds were very comfortable & the balcony was great for sitting out on with a bottle (or 3) when the little ones were in bed. The service was excellent & the apartment provided everything you could need (even washing powder for the washing machine and there is a dryer too which is great for holiday washing & very rare!).

      A well situated and comfortable apartment in need of some modernisation and redecoration. Conveniently situated near to a local supermarket and bakery with bus access one block away. Good laundry facilities.

      could have done a with safe.and locks on the windows. location was a bit too far out for me but if you dont mind traveling on the metro,bus,taxi or having a good walk then it is a great apartment.

      I was with a group of 6 that rented the Marina Apartment in Barcelona in the later part of February, 2010. The apartment was just what we had expected, i.e. clean, sufficient bedrooms & beds (no fold outs or cots), and sufficient utensils for cooking, etc. The representative that met us was very helpful in showing us the layout of the apartment, how different things worked, and where different stores were in the neighborhood. The apartment is in an ideal location, about 2 blocks from a Metro station, about 6 blocks from the Sagrada Familia Cathedral, and it is in a real neighborhood. It was a pleasure to walk 2 blocks to shop at a local store that had specialty shops upstairs and a full supermarket downstairs. Families and children playing in the small square in front made this a wonderful place to stay. Perhaps, more importantly, we did experience some "problems" with the apartment. Some very minor (needing light bulbs) to larger problems (very uncomfortable bed). We called Habitat, told them our concerns and thought that would be the end of it. Much to our surprise, when we returned, later that afternoon, all of the burned out bulbs had been replaced, and the bed had a new mattress! Our experience was nothing but positive and our group is considering a repeat trip and including this apartment in Barcelona.

      Loved the apartment. Good size. Good location. Habitat kept in constant contact via email and even a message via text. The apartment could use a fresh coat of paint.

      To begin with booking was so easy and fuss free. Habitat was so helpful in answering questions. We were met at the apartment, the ppl before us were late leaving so we went for a coffee over the road - no problem at all! The apartment itself was great, perfectly located only 2 mins from a metro! It has everything you could need, towels, cleaning products, tv, washing machine, iron, stereo air con, plates, cooking implements etc everything is in perfect working order and very clean. It could do with a paint job in some places but what do you expect in a rented apartment! It was quiet at night, the rooms aren't air conditioned but fans are provided! The balcony is fantastic - we lived out there! I would recommend Habitat apartments and the Marina apartment to anybody, and will definately be using them if I return (or when more to the point)! Thanks so much for everything!

      Very quick to get into city and especially good for Girona Airport (Ryanair flights) as bus to airport is within easy walking distance (under 5 mins). Apartment decoration is rather worn though - could do with work on bathrooms especially.

      Hi there, I am not sure if you were aware that I am a travel consultant in Sydney, Australia. We were extremely pleased with the Marina apartment, although it could perhaps have done with a touch of paint. Apart from that we would definitely have appreciated one English speaking channel on the TV. However, I have already recommended the property to my Doctor and his friends, who will be coming to Barcelona in October 2009 to take part in a bike race which apparently takes place every year.       Hello Habitat Apartments! We had a wonderful stay in Marina and found it to be a perfect solution to our family accommodation. The location is excellent for walking to the beaches, old town, Gaudi buildings etc. and we loved sitting on the balcony having a late night drink. Local public transport is good and convenient. Alfred was fantastic, he met us on time and even arranged for a taxi to take us to the airport on departure.     L’appartement Marina se situe dans la rue Casp. Il s’agit d’une des zones les plus intéressantes du quartier de l’Eixample, pour son architecture moderniste du début du XXe siècle (Art Nouveau) comme pour son large éventail de boutiques, restaurants et cafétérias. 15minutes de marche nous séparent de la Plaça Catalunya et du Passeig de Gracia.
