This is an ideal apartment for two people, so they are comfortable and not for four. It lacks a terrace.

Lovely apartment in great residential location with decent bathroom/shower, air con, wi-fi, kitchen equipment, washing machine. Flat is good size for 2 people, comfortable bedroom, plenty of space in kitchen/lounge area. Simple modern/clean look to the apartment, as in the photos. With shutters down at night flat is pretty quiet, also helps keep it cool during the day. Suggestions: seal on shower screen needs fixing, a few kitchen basics (salt, sugar, oil, coffee) would be nice. Helpful rep.

Great location closer to 3 different metro routes. This is the apartment for people want to stay a few days in Barcelona. Friendly and helpful staff make our stay perfect.

We visited Barcelona towards end of October 2013. This 5th floor apartment layout was ideal for the three of us ( 2 adults and a child ). The apartment is in a quiet residential block of flats and is easy to locate as it is next to the architecturally impressive San Antoni market building- it is 10- 15 minutes walk to La Rambla/ Pl Catalunya to the east and Pl Espanya to the west. The Aeroport Bus stop is 3 blocks away and convenient to use if you have manageable luggage. The San Antoni Metro stop is in the next block and is on the L2 metroline ( 5 stops on L2 gets you to Sagarada Familia - you will need to change to other metrolines at Universitat or Pl Catalunya to get to other attractions) The pictures and video on the website are a true representation and the apartment is maintained well and kept very clean. The sofabed in the living room is of a good size,easy to fold out and reasonably comfortable.The A/C unit is in the living room and is effective.. you may need to use the very efficient table fan in the bedroom. The kitchen has a gas cooker, microwave and adequate number of pots and pans and cutlery and we did cooked breakfasts and simple meals on it. The washing machine works well ( use in daytime to avoid disturbing neighbours ) and a clothes airer is provided. The bathroom is a good size- shower over a bathtub- good water pressure and hot water available throughout. Hairdryer is powerful. The bedroom is cosy with a very comfortable bed and a large built in wardrobe with hanging and shelf space. Also provided are a set of towels each and bed linen, ironing board and steam iron. The entrance hall has space for storing shoes coats etc. Simple cleaning things like a floor mop, broom and dish washing liquid are supplied . A landline office number for Habitat apartments is provided on the booking confirmation – We arrived an hour earlier than planned ( mid day on a working day ) and called them and we got a recorded message . Coincidentally Begonia – (who we then found out was meeting us at the apartment )- got to the apartment early as well and so we could access the apartment straight away. Begonia was very welcoming – gave us useful information and processed payment ( card or cash) on arrival. The apartment seems very secure – with keys to entry at the street level – another to the common area on floor 5 and a further one into the apartment. On check out day- we are asked to take out the rubbish and leave keys on the table and pull the door shut behind us. We really enjoyed our stay and have recommended the apartment and Habitat to friends. Barcelona is fantastic. Only suggestions would be 1) Habitat should consider providing guests with the contact details of the representative who would meet them – things can always go wrong whilst travelling and it will be useful to have a direct number to call 2) a few more coffee mugs and wine glasses perhaps // HABITAT COMMENTS: Thank you for your review. fanastic location! very easy to move around the city, very authentic neighborhood with a lot of character. the apartment is well equiped with the basic stuff plus washing mashine and AC. the staff is amazing! so attentive and kind. stayed there with my two small children and it was perfect. highchair and crib were available. thank you very much for a very pleasant stay at the comptal.

Perfect location, good value for money, quiet place on top floor with all necessary stores in the area). There are 2 Metro stations close-by, and Ramblas are in walking distance. Kitchen has only basic utensils. The aircondition unit is in the living room but it will finally cool down the rest of the appartment. The furniture was in in good shape although couch covers were a bit stained and could use a good wash. Since our plane was delayed we advised habitat but had to pay the fine anyway.//Comment from habitat: We are sorry for those small problems you had and as it says in our conditions, there is an extra charge of 20 Eur for the check-in after 21:00, that was a reason why they charged you!

The location was great and we really liked the apartment. The service when we arrived made us feel welcomed to the apartment and to Barcelona. We did have trouble with the outer door to the apartment but eventually we figured out a trick. Our neighbors kept ringing the door bell at late hours in the other rental apartment and that was our only problem. Our last night at 2 in the am. they kept ringing our bell instead of 52 and it woke us and scared us.

apartment was in fantastic location! loved the food market that was like only 1 minute walking distance since we were able to buy fresh fruits and food whenever we wanted. the tapas bars in the neighborhood were great too. felt like we lived there instead of visiting. and the metro was right around the corner which made it easy it get around when we didnt feel like walking!

We really enjoyed our stay in Comtal 53. The quality of the apartment, the location and the staff were great. few considerations: more toilet paper should be provided according to the length of the stay and number of people. It would be nice to find some salt and oil (the very essentials).

5 star apartment. Had a great holiday, loved Barcelona. We want to see more of the World, so would not come back. However would recommend your company. Regards Adrian

Lovely apartment in a good location, situated between Saint Antoni and Poble Sec metro stops. Apartment was well equipped. Supermarkets and bakery very close by. Would definitely stay there again.

We were very please with our apartment in Barcelona. The location was great. The facilities in the apartment were in great working condition. Thankfully, they had instructions for the washing machine in English. It is located very close to 2 train stations with less than a 10 minute walk to each. Easy walk from the Urgell Aerobus stop to the apartment. Customer support while we were at the apartment was prompt and accommodating. I would highly recommend this apartment and company for anyone!

Appartement propre, moderne, équipé, bien situé, centre ville à pied ou en métro, commerce de proximité, boulangerie, restaurants et marchés en bas de l\'appartement. Je recommande.

Excellent apartment in convenient location maing a great base for a short visit to Barcelona.

Une adresse très bien située et un bâtiment très bien entretenu. Appartement grand, propre, très bien équipé, avec une très belle vue sur le Marché Saint Antony. Malgré notre arrivée tardive, l\'accueil fut ponctuel et très sympathique.

Nice apartment with kitchen and washing machine. Only about a 5 minute walk to metro. Little grocery stores close by. Overall good experience.

Confortable bien situe la chambre manque d un volet car le matin on est réveillé des le lève du soleil!!!

The apartment was a great value and located in a true urban neighborhood away from the hotels and other tourists. I would definitely recommend it to a friend or stay there on my next visit to Barcelona. As always there is room for improvement; the heat seemed to not work in the bedroom, there were not a second set of sheets for the pull out bed, no instructions for the washer and no hooks in the bathroom for towels. The card reader didn\'t work, so, we had to call the office to make the charge.

we had a lovely stay in comtal53 in Barcelona. Location was very convenient (close to metro station, supermarkets and bakeries nearby), service was great : towels were missing and we got extra ones in 10 Minutes! I have absolutely NO complaints we had a great, stressless time in this wonderful apartement!!

Great service from Habitat apartments. Staff are helpful and very responsive to my e-mails. Check-in process was smooth. This apartment is roomy, new and clean. Convenient location in a quiet neighbourhood. Just a few minutes walk to 3 different metro stations nearby. Few supermarkets nearby. Safe area. The Sant antoni market nearby is currently under construction.
