This unique market is located in the city center and has one very special characteristic: it is the only floating flower market in the world. Since 1862 flowers are being sold on the Bloemenmarkt, situated on one of the oldest canals of the city, along the Singel Canal, between the Koningsplein and the Muntplein.
All year long locals and tourists are visiting this market for buying flowers, seeds or just for walking around and taking some pictures of the wonderful flowers and this unique location of the market.
Close to the market you can also find a nice selection of bars and cafés for relaxing a bit from the sightseeing in the city of canals looking at the colorful floral arrangements of the Bloemenmarkt in Amsterdam.
