      Overall a great experience and a very nice little apartment. 10 to 15 minutes walk from almost all the main sights with a great little bakery on the opposite corner and a small but well stocked supermarket just up the road. service from the staff was excellent and the WiFi was a real bonus to check-in online when returning home :). One minor fault...the external blinds in the small bedroom which looked out onto the light well do not work. Habitat Apartments: Thank you! We'll get the blinds checked & sorted!

      great appartment good location clean and ready to use. had a nice welcome from jenifer the agent, on time just bring with you some extra to cook like salt papper sugar, the rest you go down and buy. everything was working

      Excellent location near Arc de Triompf metro and no. 39 bus route direct to Barceloneta. Quiet apartment. Central air conditioning very effective. Clean apartment and in good condition. All the appliances that you need in kitchen. Perfect for small families with one double and one single room.

      Nice apartment, fully equiped and perfectly located. The lock of the balcony bedroom door was broken. Luckily a safe was available.

      Ottimo in dotazioni( c'erano anche tutti i tipi di detersivi e di elettrodomestici), in spaziosità (più ampio che nelle foto), in pulizia, in posizione (vicinissimo alla metrò e alla stazione dei bus per l'aeroporto di Girona), nello stabile (signorile e silenziosissimo), nella gestione del cliente (efficienti e pronti a rispondere a tutte le domande sia prima che dopo l'alloggio).

      The apartment was just as nice as shown in the pictures. We were happy to find that it was very clean and all the kitchen appliances, furniture etc. were in good condition. The apartment was very practical (e.g. washing machine) and child-friendly. The Habitat Apartment practicalities worked very well for us, even though our flight was delayed. Just as noted in the other reviews the apartment was very quiet which is great. The location is central with easy access to metro, bus, shops, park... The only small minus was the water pressure also mentioned by others, but that cannot be helped by the apartment, and it did not really bother us. Our family plans to spend another week here as the apartment and location were just perfect! A tip for other travellers: If you don\'t speak Spanish, you might want to take a few DVD\'s with you, as almost all TV programs in Spain are dubbed into Spanish :) The apartment has a well-working DVD-TV combo.

      My husband and I rented Alibei 2 for a week, and it was a perfect location for seeing sights, neighborhood noshing, and within walking distance of the Barcelona Jazz Festival venues (Gran Hotel Havava, Harlem Jazz Club, Palau de Cataluna). We were 4 minutes from the Arc de Triomf Metro line, and 5-10 from Born, Barri Gotic and Placa Catalunya. The handoff from Habitat went smoothly. Wi-FI was fine, and it was great to be able to do laundry. The space wis IKEA chic, tasteful and in good shape. It felt just right for 2 people. One suggestion: It would be nice to have a few guidebooks or staples like cooking oil, salt, pepper on hand. We felt like a lot of what we bought at the nearby Bonpreu store went to waste.       A well kept, clean and comfortable apartment in central location with good quality fixtures and fittings. The apartment was located at the back of the building so was quiet and secure. The views from the lounge and bedroom window were of the terraces and rear of the adjoining buildings, but being west facing, received good natural light. The lounge was slightly more spacious than what appears in the pics so was a pleasant surprise! The second bedroom was very small though with a single bed, one side table and wardrobe. The kitchen had all appliances and were in good condition. Overall, it was a good base to explore the city with metro station (Arc de Triomf) within a 10 mins walk and a supermarket next to Barcelona Nord bus station - 15 mins walk.

      It was close enough to the Placa Catalunya anf Gothic area but was pleasantly quit at night. Modern & clean apartment style - we liked it. Good value for the money for the centre of Barcelona.

    Location of this apartment in Barcelona

    The Alibei 2 Apartment is located in Calle Ali Bei, between Calle Bailen and Passeig Sant Joan, in the elegant Eixample district. This is very much the centre of Barcelona, a 10-minute walk from Plaza Catalunya, Las Ramblas and the Barrio Gotico. Close by (15mins walk) you’ll also find Passeig de Gracia, the city’s most prestigious shopping street and home to two of Barcelona’s architectural gems: Casa Mila and Casa Batllo, both by Antoni Gaudi.

    The city’s park, Parque Ciutadella, the zoo, and the fashionable Born area are also ten minutes on foot from the apartment, down the broad Passeig San Joan. En-route you’ll pass by the 18th Century Arc de triomf, which commemorates a rare victory for the forces of Catalunya, and you’ll more than likely see several spirited games of Petanca being played by groups of local pensioners. A ten-minute walk in the opposite direction, towards the hills, takes you to La Sagrada Familia, Anton Gaudi’s massive, eccentric and unfinished masterpiece.

    The street next to the apartment is home to some interesting restaurants as well as a variety of shops, grocery stores and a supermarket. The nearest station is 200 metres away and offers both metro (line 1) and regional train services (to the coast and inland).
