The apartment was just as described. The place is very secure. Water pressure is great in the shower. The street noise is a bit noisy, but that seems to be everywhere in Barcelona and surrounding areas. The check in process was extremely easy and friendly. We would definitely use Habitat again!

We had a very nice stay in Sots 3 Apartment. The location is perfect with lots of nice little bars and eateries around. One minor point was that it was rather cold in the apartment and we had trouble getting the heater working. Also, there was a small mix up with our departure date as the cleaner came on the Saturday thinking we were leaving that day whereas we were only departing on Sunday. However, this was resolved quickly and overall we had a lovely stay in Barcelona!

The location of the apartment is just perfect! We enjoyed the most being in the old town, a step away from the Ramblas and the Old Port. The apartment was cozy, clean and quiet. We would definitively book with habitat again.

Great location - ideal for a couple.

Habitat staff was very accommodating since our first apartment had issues and we needed to move. Sots 3 is sunny and comfortable. The shower head was going to be repaired. The deck off the bedroom was nice for relaxing or to dry your clothes. We enjoyed our stay in Barcelona.

Apartment seemed very good for our purposes. Only problems were the bedside lamp and the shower bracket were broken, and the roll up door on balcony broke. The area seems a bit run down, with graffiti on buildings. Also very noisy at night but we understand this is a common problem in Barcelona. Overall an enjoyable stay - thank you. Nice apartment and location.

The apartment suited our requirements for a short break.(2 adults & 1 child). It is very easy to explore the Barri Gotic and Born areas from here and the nearest metro station is 5 mins walk away.

An excellent choice for travellers who want to be independent and self-sufficient on a trip, as it has a full kitchen and laundry facilities in a central location in the gothic quarter.

We stayed in sots 3 app. four nights in Nov 2010. The location of the ap. is great - 10 mins from Catalunia square (city centre with many shops etc), 15- 20 mins from Rambla street, plenty of super markets and cafes in the neighbourhood. The neighbours in the building are quiet but the street noise can be heard at night. I would reccomed the sots 3 to a family with kids. Our baby got fever during our stay there and habitat apartments personnel was helpful in providing the info re the doctor and hospital to choose.

Plus: location: near bus stop, coast line, many restaurants, places to see etc. Minus: To us the apartment is very noisy especially during weekends. (We are living nowadays in countryside in the house with triple windows.) The apartment is quite dark in the evenings. You cannot read in the bed. Anyway we enjoyed staying in Barcelona very much. Thank you.

Great location for exploring the old part of the city. Good apt. and much better space than hotel for the money. If you don\'t require the hotel frills, this is a better alternative.

My family stayed there for 8 days and we thought the apartament was great espcially the balcony, excellent location and walking distant from many of the city's attractions. Unfortunately, the towels and blankets were not enough with a toddler and a baby, but I would definitly book with Habitat again and stay in this apartment.

Location is good and in a quiet central area. The apartment style is good. Services offered good. Overall good value.

We stayed for 3 nights at the Sots 3. The communication on booking etc was excellent and the directions to the apartment were perfect.

On arrival they were waiting for us. The airconditioning was very welcome. The kitchen is fully fitted with everything you could want. The apartment is beautiful, spotlessly clean and crisp whie linen and towels are provided. It was lovely to sit out on the balcony. The location was great, easy to find as it's just off the big main road, and it's just round the corner from loads of tapas bars etc. a taxi to the airport with suitcases cost 22 euros but you could easily get the train.

The price was about the same as a 3 Star city centre hotel but you get so much more, loads more space and I would not hesitate in using habitatapartments again.

My husband and I had a wonderful vacation in Barcelona and staying in a beautiful apartment in the heart of Barri Gotico really added an extra special touch to our overall experience. The directions provided by Habitat upon booking were extremely helpful, especially since the small streets and alleyways in the Historic district can be quite confusing to visitors. However, we were able to find the apartment with ease. We arrived at our Sots Tinent Navarro in front of the apartment we didn't see anyone, since we arrived a little later than we expected. We didn't know exactly what to do at the front door, but with a quick call to Habitat they paged our correspondant and an energetic woman named Esperanza came to greet us within a few seconds. She was so enthusiastic and friendly, and took us up to the 3rd floor where we were let in to the apartment and showed us around explaining how to use the air conditioner, the locks on the doors and the washing machine, and suggested some places to visit. The apartment looked exactly as pictured on the website and there were no surprises. It was beautiful and clean and spacious with clean linens and towels provided. I liked having the room to spread out and relax and also do laundry and cook meals. This was MUCH nicer than staying at a hotel and for a comparable price. I found it a nice touch that there were English novels on the shelves and Lonely Planet books of Spain and Barcelona. The location was incredible. The Barri Gotico was an ideal place for us to stay as it had so much character, and not to mention the plethora of restaurants, bars, art galleries and cafés in walking distance. What an interesting quarter of the city. 15th and 16th century buildings near plazas and cathedrals with cobblestone alleyways. I loved it. I also loved how we could buy fresh baguettes at all of the nearby corner stores and bakeries and bottles of wine. We were so close very close to the Jaume 1 subway station, 5-10 minute walk from La Rambla and 10 minute walk to Barceloneta beach. The beach was also a great feature that we used on many occasions! Across Laietana Street, there was another pocket of historic buildings that looked similar to Barri Gotico, an area called El Born. Only on this side of Laietana, it was a little trendier with cute shops and more upscale restaurants and bars. El Born seemed to be filled with more tourists than in Gotico, and it was really beautiful. I liked it there a lot, but I prefered the eclectic and less "put together" vibe in Barri Gotico. All in all I would happily highly recommend Habitat Apartments to friends, family and to anyone looking for a comfortable place to stay in Barcelona.
