      The apartment was a great value and located in a true urban neighborhood away from the hotels and other tourists. I would definitely recommend it to a friend or stay there on my next visit to Barcelona. As always there is room for improvement; the heat seemed to not work in the bedroom, there were not a second set of sheets for the pull out bed, no instructions for the washer and no hooks in the bathroom for towels. The card reader didn\'t work, so, we had to call the office to make the charge.

      we had a lovely stay in comtal53 in Barcelona. Location was very convenient (close to metro station, supermarkets and bakeries nearby), service was great : towels were missing and we got extra ones in 10 Minutes! I have absolutely NO complaints we had a great, stressless time in this wonderful apartement!!

      Great service from Habitat apartments. Staff are helpful and very responsive to my e-mails. Check-in process was smooth. This apartment is roomy, new and clean. Convenient location in a quiet neighbourhood. Just a few minutes walk to 3 different metro stations nearby. Few supermarkets nearby. Safe area. The Sant antoni market nearby is currently under construction.

      Great stay in a nice apartment.
    Location of this apartment in Barcelona

    Comtal 53 apartment in Barcelona is located in the left side of the Eixample district of Barcelona (Poble Sec area), just 3 minutes' walk to the Sant Antoni market, a large market selling primarily food products, a good place to wander around & overload your senses. There are many shops, cafés & restaurants in the area, including popular bars & theatre.  Closeby is Parallel which is a busy thoroughfare during the day but quieter at night, and just a 15-20 minute walk to the main centre and Las Ramblas. This is a good choice if you want to be central but away from the crowds of tourists that populate more central areas.

    The apartment is only 15 minutes' walk from Plaza Espanya which has event halls, 2 art museums & 'Poble Espanyol' which was built for the 1929 World Fair and is a 'village' constructed from different examples of Spanish regional architecture, and also not far is Plaza Catalunya which is the heart of Barcelona.
