This romantically decorated apartment is perfectly located for anyone who wants to be near the principal attractions without being in the middle of the crowds. It is large and offers a bright and clean feel for a comfortable stay in the heart of Amsterdam's hippest neighbourhood.

Built around 1790 and completely renovated in 2007, the building where the apartment is located is a national monument. In the 1820s it was home to the young Multatuli, Holland's most famous author. You can visit the museum dedicated to him a few streets away in the house of his birth and the large statue of him on the Torensluis bridge on the Singel canal.

1st level: Living room with large open kitchen and dining area
2nd level: 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. One bedroom has an original wooden floor with three large windows overlooking the street. The shower room is next door. The second bedroom is located at the back of the house, with an ensuite bathroom.
Attic level: 1 bedroom

The apartment offers the following amenities and services:
- 1 bedroom with double bed (1 Queen-size bed, 160 x 200 cm, on request this bed can be made up as two single beds (80 x 200 cm) & ensuite bathroom
- 2 bedrooms twin beds, one with en-suite bathroom (2 single beds, 90 x 200 cm, on request these beds can be made up as a King-size bed (180 x 200 cm)
- 2 single sofa beds in the attic (each sofabed, 120 x 200 cm)
- 2 bathrooms in total (one en-suite off double bedroom, other off twin bedroom)
- Kitchen fully equipped with oven, dishwasher, table and chairs

Excluded from the price are:
- 5% Tourist Tax will be added to the total of the stay after booking (find more information about this tax here: Tourist tax in Amsterdam)
- A fee of EUR 50 will be added to the total of the stay after booking for administration costs and is non-refundable
- Early check ins (between 12:00 and 15:00) or late check ins (after 23:00) are upon request and the cost of this service is 30 euro. For check-in earlier than 12:00 a half-day rate will be charged. Normal check in time is from 15:00 to 23:00 (no extra charge).
- Payment of any open balance must be settled two weeks prior to check-in, bank transfer or by American Express, Diner's Club, MasterCard or Visa.

CANCELLATION
- The 50 euro booking fee is non-refundable, not even in the case of force majeure.
- If the booking is cancelled more than 14 days in advance of the check-in date, then the booking fee paid will be returned, less an administration charge of € 50 (inc. VAT).
- If the booking is cancelled 14 days or less in advance of the check-in date, then the booking fee paid will be returned, less 25% of the total amount, with a minimum of € 50 (inc. VAT).
- If the booking is cancelled 7 days or less in advance of the check-in date, the full amount will be charged for the entire period as originally booked.
- If the tenant does not show up for check-in, the full amount will be charged for the entire period as originally booked.
