Habitat Apartments



The following conditions are applicable to all reservations made. Acceptation of a reservation shall imply acceptation of these general terms. habitat apartments reserves the right to modify the conditions at any time, without prejudice to any rights acquired previously.

- Prices:

The prices of the apartments are per night and depends on the number of people staying in the apartment. All apartments have a minimum 3 night stay, except during special events that the minimum stay could be longer.

- Reservation Process:

You can check availability in our website or you can also send us an email requesting availability, in this case we reply to you within 24 hours with the available apartments and the price. Once you have select an apartment you must fill inn the reservation form. A Credit Card Information is needed to guarantee your reservation against cancellations. Once you have submitted the reservation form we send to you by email the Confirmation Form with information about how to arrive to the apartment

- Cancellation:

- If the client cancels within 30 days to the arrival day we charge the 40% of the total amount to the Credit Card.
- If the client cancels within 15 days to the arrival day we charge the 80% of the total amount to the Credit Card.
- Cancellation in the arrival day or no show we will charge the 100% of the total amount.
Cancellations must be noticed by email to info@habitatapartments.com and acknowledgement of receipt must be sent by Habitat.

In the case that apartment booked can’t be provided habitat apartments must offer an alternative apartment with the same quality standard.

- Credit Card Information

Your credit card shall only be used to guarantee your reservation against cancellations and in accordance with the clauses hereto. No charge shall be made to your credit card at the time of making the reservation. We don’t store your Credit Card Information in any Personal data file.

- Payment

The client pays in cash Euros the total amount in the arrival day. Payment with Credit Card is possible for reservations with a total amount higher than 800 euros and is subject to a 4% charge. We only accept Visa or MasterCard. The clients have to inform us in advance if they want to pay with Credit Card.
For bookings that exceeds the amount of 1,500 euros, the client could be required to pay the 30% of the total amount in the reservation date. In these cases we will contact the client by email to proceed with the payment which can be done by credit card. The booking is confirmed with independence wether this deposit is required or not.
The following apartments don't allow payment with credit card: Via Apartment, Unic Apartment, Marina Apartment.

- Arrival & Exit Hours:

In the exit day we ask to vacate the apartment at 11:00 hours. In case the client want to store the luggage in the apartment later than 11:00 hours he must call us the day before the exit day so we can check if nobody is check-in the same day.

In the arrival day we can meet in the apartment from 11:00 hours, if we have had a vacate the same day we need 3 hours to clean the apartment, in this case the client can leave the luggage in the apartment and return later when the apartment is clean and ready to enter.

For late arrivals (late than 23:00) we ask for 30 euros fee.

For the apartments Diputacio, Bruc, Calabria, Flor 1, Flor 2 and Flor Duplex:
- Check-in time is from 14:00 hours.
- For check-in later than 21:00 hours there's a 25 euros fee and after 23:00 hours there's a 40 euros fee.
For the Sicilia apartments:
- For check-in later than 22:00 hours there's a 30 euros fee.
- Check out time is at 10:00 am.

For the Eixample apartments and Sants apartments:
- For check-in from 22:00 hours to 24:00 hours or from 07:00 hours to 08:00 hours there's a 20 euros fee.
- For check-in from 24:00 hours to 07:00 hours there's a 50euros fee.
- Check out time is at 10:00 am.

- Reservations for more than 1 apartment

We usually don't make reservations for more than one apartment in the same building, the reason is that neighbours are concern about large groups staying in apartments due to the noise.

- Apartments Rules

Is important it to keep in mind the following rules of conduct:

Noise
  • It is very important to respect the noise level (people, music) after 9.00 at night.
  • Parties are not allowed.
  • Meetings in the landings or in the entrance are not permitted.

    Security
    The building is monitored by video cameras. Furthermore, it is asked that you comply with the following rules:
  • Always close the door to the street. It is important to ensure after entering or leaving that the door remains securely closed.
  • Do not open the door to commercial mail.

    Trash
  • Do not leave trash bags in the landings or in the entrance. The trash should be left in closed plastic bags in the street in front of the entrance between the hours of 8.00 – 10.00 at night.

    Smoke
  • Smoke in the apartment is not allowed. You can use the balconies or the terrace as smoking areas.

    Lights and Air Conditioning
  • Turn off the air-conditioning and lights if you leave the apartment.

    Behaviour
  • The client is obliged to employ the apartment only for the purpose for which it is intended.
  • Any damage caused to the apartment or its contents has to be reported immediately to habitat apartments. The client shall be responsible for such damage.

    The client has a duty to behave in a civic manner and to respect the normal co-existence rules. In the case that these general co-existence rules are not kept, habitat apartments have the right to demand the guests to vacate the apartment.

    - Maid Service

    The arrival day the apartment shall be cleaned with fresh towels and linen. A cleaning service is included for stays than more than 7 days. The exit day the client shall leave the apartment in a reasonable condition.

    - Towels and linen

    Fresh towels and linen will be provided the arrival day. A hand towel and bath towel will be provided for each person staying in the apartment. The linen for cots is not provided

    - Amenities included

    habitat apartment shall offer the apartment with all the amenities described, in the case that on the arrival day some of the amenities are not provided the client could ask for a compensation. Fresh towels and linen will be provided the arrival day.

    - Guests Identity

    In the arrival day a registration form must be filled and signed including information related to the guests staying in the apartment.

    - Damage Deposit

    In the arrival day habitat apartments has the right to ask the client a 200 euros damage deposit. Any damage to the apartment caused by the client will be discounted from the damage deposit. If this amount does not cover the damage caused, the client will be obliged to pay the difference.The deposit will be refundable the exit day in case there's no damage. In the case that no damage deposit has been taken in the arrival the credit card used in the reservation process would be used to guarantee any damage caused.

    - Liabilities

    habitat apartment shall not be liable for any inconveniences which are out of its control. habitat apartments cannot be held responsible for theft/damage to personal goods or accidents resulting in injury.
